It seems Christmas has already been. It came and went very quickly. We put some sherry, and a mince pie out for Santa, and a carrot for Rudolph. They were all gone in the morning. Santa must get very fat.

Dear Grace,
I never saw Santa so I don`t know if he is fat or not. All the pictures you see in books make him fat but as no-one has ever seen him they could be wrong.
One year when I was a girl I watched the night sky for hours to see him but never did. I think I fell asleep!
